While I always have high hopes for being ready with a craft a month in advance, the reality is, it often happens last minute! The significance of Easter is not a last minute thing to think about, but an everyday thing we need to remember. So the craft the kiddos will be doing at my church this Easter is based on the resurrection and Philippians 4:4. It says, “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!”. Jesus rose from the dead. We need to rejoice!
For this craft you need:
- print out one Rejoice paper per student Easter Rejoice Craft
- cut up colored construction paper into small pieces (I used less than one piece per color)
- glue sticks
- tablecloth for the table
Have the children put glue on the letters and then put on the little bits of paper. I used crayons to make some rays of sunshine around it all.
Perfect refrigerator art for the week to remember Easter!
